Job Title: Digital Marketing Officer

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Officer to join our team on a temporary contract with the potential to go permanent.

The successful candidate will be working for a well-established College in the Warwickshire area, responsible for planning, creating, and implementing the digital communication strategy and activity across the organisation's channels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team leader and work with the digital team to implement the college digital communication strategy
  • Develop content plans for the digital channels and successfully communicate the annual social media plan
  • Develop, deliver, and manage paid digital marketing campaigns
  • Support with overseeing the website development and maintenance
  • Communicate with external marketing agencies and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest external social media trends and digital technologies
  • Monitor and report on key competitor activity
  • Support the wider team with a range of marketing activity as required

Requirements:

  • Experience in digital marketing
  • Experience of writing content and editing
  • Marketing background
  • IT literate, confident using web-publishing software
  • Good understanding of GDPR
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Ability to manage workloads
  • Experience in using WordPress

Working Hours/Pay rate:

  • Full-time working 37.5 hours a week, with open discussion of working hybrid
  • Paying £12.79 p/h
