Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Mental Health Specialist to join our team at CWP. As a specialist in perinatal mental health, you will work with women and families in the perinatal period, providing multi-disciplinary care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage risk in the perinatal period
  • Provide specialist care and support to women experiencing mental health difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in maternity services, health visiting, and children's services
  • Develop and implement care plans to promote well-being and reduce risk
Requirements
  • Registered mental health nurse or social worker
  • Postgraduate qualification in perinatal mental health or willingness to undertake training
  • Specialist knowledge in attachment and infant mental health or willingness to undertake training
  • Ability to manage risk and plan creatively to maximise effectiveness of care plans
