Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our successful Secondary Staff Team in the West Northamptonshire area.
About the Role:
Cover Supervisors are trained school staff who supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence. The main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising / covering lessons already planned and set for a class
- Managing pupil behaviour for any class you are assigned cover with and implement schools behaviour policy if required
- Being flexible and able to provide cover across a range of subjects and key stages
- Providing 1:1 support and answering questions about processes and procedures in line with the school policy
- Keeping pupils on task to complete their work
Requirements:

What We Offer:
Cover Supervisors will have access to an online diary to manage their work availability. Work will be offered on a daily basis, and can be flexible but can also be offered on a full-time basis. The school day usually commences from 08:30am until 15:30pm, it is essential that you are available during these hours for this role to be suitable.
