Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Institutional Reentry Specialist to coordinate, plan, and implement effective inmate management approaches in the Sussex State Prison Complex.

About the Role

This role is focused on providing quality control of institution-wide reentry initiatives based on evidence-based practices. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, and be able to effectively manage clinical/therapeutic boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Come up with a plan for the implementation and ongoing evaluation of institutional reentry programs
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide cognitive behavioral programming to inmates
  • Maintain accurate records of treatment progress and case plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or rehabilitative counseling, or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively with inmates, staff, and community partners

Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
