CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our team in a 3-month contract with a Local Authority.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will provide effective administrative support across the division, ensuring excellent customer care for all visitors and callers. This role requires dealing with adults who may face difficulties and challenging behavior in a sensitive and professional manner.

The position involves various administrative activities to ensure service targets are met and continuous improvement is achieved, enabling frontline staff to focus on delivering core business functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out administrative functions, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal frameworks, government guidelines, and statistical returns.
  • Maintain accurate records, update information systems, and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
  • Provide information and guidance on processes and procedures to practitioners and managers.
  • Distribute information, manage documents, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Assist with financial support and organisational tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including data input and retrieval.
  • Knowledge of adult services and mental health departments.
  • Understanding of quality customer care principles and diversity applications.
  • Awareness of health and safety issues within an office environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to resolve problems creatively.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive benefits such as training opportunities and a supportive work environment.
