About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at The Victoria in Withington. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the success of our pub, working closely with the General Manager to achieve our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the front of house team, ensuring excellent customer service and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with the management of stock, including ordering and inventory control.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead and motivate the team, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure they reach their full potential.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring the pub operates within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
