Child Protection Specialist

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and child-focused social worker to join our Child Looked After Service in Middlesbrough.
The successful candidate will need a full valid driving licence, be registered with Social Work England, and hold a valid enhanced DBS.
Main Responsibilities
- Undertaking statutory home visits within timescales
- Excellent recording and timekeeping skills
- Direct work with children
- Preparing reports for and attending Child Looked After reviews
Requirements
Experience of Safeguarding, working with Children Looked After, Adoption, and supporting children through transition, including reunification plans. Confident in holding monthly Care Team meetings and recording them in a timely manner. Ability to attend strategy meetings and stability meetings.
