Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineering Director to lead our structural engineering team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of structural engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with our engineering and project management teams to develop and implement project plans, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
  • Coordinating with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in structural engineering, project management, or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural engineering, including bridge design and assessment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary of £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
