Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for assisting residents with their daily routines, promoting independence, and prioritizing their overall health and happiness.
- Empower Independence: Assist residents with activities such as getting dressed, staying active, and making positive choices to maintain their independence.
- Personalized Care: Follow and support each resident's personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
- Health and Wellbeing: Monitor residents' health, communicate any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and assist with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
- Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
- Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Qualifications: SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
- Experience: Ideally, you have at least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with a passion for care and transferable skills.
- Passion: You're genuinely interested in caring for the elderly and committed to delivering excellent service.
- Values: You bring integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork to everything you do.
