Responsibilities:The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the Inventory Management Team to deliver a high-performance service and develop the team's skills and capabilities.
- Providing a seamless interface between Projects, Logistics, Procurement, and Engineering to create and implement an inventory management policy.
- Developing robust processes for inventory reporting, analysis, and forecasting to ensure accurate and timely decision-making.
- Optimizing inventory levels and processes to increase stock availability and reduce costs.
- Providing future demand and capacity planning for BAE Stores within HMNBP.
- Maintaining compliance with the SHE Management System and mitigating risks to improve overall safety, health, and environmental performance.
- Resolving customer enquiries and issues to maintain exceptional service standards.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience working in an aftermarket environment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop robust processes.
- Very strong MRP and Excel skills, including data analysis and visualization.
- Experience working with line side, vending, and Kanban systems.
