Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the general stores operations and ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Verify goods in process, checking stock and quantities against purchase orders.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers and couriers to address potential issues or inquiries.
  • Process data entry accurately using company CRMs.
  • Track and report on operational KPI targets.
  • Optimize stock levels through correct settings in the stock management system.
  • Conduct regular stock takes, cycle counts, and valuations within main stores.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Accounts, and Manufacturing Departments for optimal outcomes.
  • Verify manufactured part stock levels meet requirements.
  • Perform supervisory duties, including absence management and annual reviews.

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 per annum

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing store management is advantageous.
  • Supervisory experience is crucial.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary.
