Care Support Worker Job Description: This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced mental health setting, providing high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities. As a Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring patient conditions, checking symptoms and vital signs, and displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support patients with complex needs and challenging behaviors.

Job Summary: As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with learning disabilities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to patients with learning disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Monitoring patient conditions and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care and progress

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a learning and disability hospital environment within the last 3 years
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices

Salary: £12.45 - £21.03 per hour

Location: Princess of Wales Hospital - Church View, Osbourne Court, Malvern WR14 1JE
