About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Solicitor/Legal Executive to join our accomplished team at Themis Recruit. Our client is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to their clients and is committed to fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of family law matters, including both private client and legal aid cases
  • Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients in all aspects of family law
  • Conduct advocacy in Family Court, representing clients in hearings and trials
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and court orders
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their legal issues
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge and experience with legal aid family work, including compliance with legal aid regulations and procedures
  • Utilize the firm's hybrid working model to effectively manage workload between office-based and remote working
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with changes in family law and legal practices
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure a seamless service delivery to clients

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) in family law
  • Demonstrable experience in handling both private and legal aid family law cases
  • Strong advocacy skills with a proven track record of representing clients in Family Court
  • Excellent understanding of legal aid processes and requirements
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload efficiently
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity and ethics
