We are seeking a talented Scientific Publication Specialist to join our growing Medical Communications and Strategy team at RTI-HS.

About the Role:

As a Scientific Publication Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with internal and external authors and stakeholders to develop publication plans and medical communications, with a primary focus on publications (e.g., manuscripts, abstracts, and posters).

You will assume project ownership by providing project management support from initiation to publication, including the development of project proposals, managing communications among stakeholders, overseeing clients' compliance processes, and navigating internal quality review processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of scientific data and the ability to transform it into a narrative storyline for publication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with internal and external authors and stakeholders to develop publication plans and medical communications
  • Assume project ownership and provide project management support from initiation to publication
  • Lead meetings confidently and effectively manage multiple project timelines
  • Evaluate and summarize data from study results, documentation, and the literature
  • Develop publications in accordance with company style and journal/conference guidelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in the Sciences, English, or Communications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing medical or scientific publications
  • Strong communication skills, both written and interpersonal
  • Ability to adapt to various personalities and needs

Salary Range:$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience
