Job Summary

The Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Specialist to join their team. This role will play a crucial part in promoting community engagement with citizens who have come through the keyworker system.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with the public and be an effective communicator with active listening skills. They will also be able to develop and facilitate groups that promote social inclusion, confidence building, and a sense of belonging.

In this role, you will work closely with the keyworker team to support our citizens on an individual basis to work towards specific goals to promote independence and inclusion. You will also network with partner agencies to ensure up-to-date information around current offers to signpost to.

Key Responsibilities
  • To promote community engagement with our citizens who have come through the keyworker system.
  • To be an effective communicator with active listening skills.
