Job Summary:

FES Group is seeking a skilled Building Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality building fabric maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver planned and reactive building fabric maintenance services to meet statutory requirements and client expectations.
  • Provide mobile engineering services to multiple sites, including schools in the Midlands area.
  • Respond to reactive building fabric works as directed by the helpdesk and Maintenance Manager.
  • Carry out planned works, installations, and repairs in accordance with current regulations.
  • Assist with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical reactive works, where qualified, as required by the Maintenance Manager and contract specifications.
  • Contribute to project planning, estimation, and stock control of critical mechanical and building fabric spares.
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet site-specific RAMS and safety briefings.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional client service and maintain high customer satisfaction standards.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds apprenticeship or relevant experience in building fabric maintenance.
  • Qualifications and experience in mechanical, plumbing, planned, and reactive maintenance are advantageous.
  • Experience with CAFM systems and PDA's for planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to plan and organize workload to meet SLA targets.
  • Previous experience working in schools is an advantage.
  • Clean driving license.
