About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to our residents. You will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants, working closely with the Deputy General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the care home. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.

About You

We are looking for individuals who possess a strong passion for delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. You will need to have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, as well as specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. Your warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed approach will be essential in creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment for our residents. You will have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training and development opportunities, with many of our Senior Care Assistants progressing into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles.
