Avery Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care and creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, identifying any changes that may impact care and ensuring that new needs are met.
- Be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans.
- Support residents with their medication requirements and undertake staff supervisions to support staff development.
- Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.
To be successful in this role, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate will have:
- An NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
- 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- A positive attitude to supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities.
