Molecular Imaging and Therapies Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Molecular Imaging and Therapies Service Manager to join our multidisciplinary team at The London Clinic. As a key member of our Cancer Services team, you will be responsible for leading the team of radiographers and technologists, physicists, and managing the day-to-day operations of the Molecular Imaging and Therapies service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the team of radiographers and technologists, physicists, and manage the day-to-day operations of the Molecular Imaging and Therapies service.
- Work closely with Consultants, Referrers, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, and Radiologists to ensure scans are of the highest quality and in line with best practice.
- Provide an efficient service and ensure that patients remain in the department for the minimum possible time, consistent with satisfactory clinical, technical, and radiological requirements.
- Liaise with Radiologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, and Referring Clinicians to initiate and develop new procedures and techniques.
- Organise routine/urgent work to optimise and maintain the throughput of patients in the department.
- Establish and oversee evidence-based practice, quality assurance, clinical audits, monthly activity statistics, optimisation, and research studies.
- Proven experience in leading a team of radiographers and technologists, physicists, and managing the day-to-day operations of a Molecular Imaging and Therapies service.
- Strong knowledge of radiology and nuclear medicine practices, procedures, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Consultants, Referrers, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, and Radiologists.
- Ability to provide an efficient service and ensure that patients remain in the department for the minimum possible time, consistent with satisfactory clinical, technical, and radiological requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to establish and oversee evidence-based practice, quality assurance, clinical audits, monthly activity statistics, optimisation, and research studies.
