Job Title: SEN Support Assistant - Psychology Graduate Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEN Support Assistant. As a SEN Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who have special educational needs, providing support and assistance to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support students with special educational needs in a UK school setting.
  • Provide 1:1 and general support to students according to their individual needs.
  • Work alongside other teaching and support staff to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Be responsible for upholding school policies, including behaviour policies.

Requirements:

  • A patient and understanding approach.
  • An interest in working with students with SEND.
  • Flexibility in your approach.
  • An existing DBS check on the update service (new DBS checks can be applied for).
  • Existing experience working with children or adults with SEND in a UK school is advantageous but not required.
