About the Role

We are seeking a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Teaching Assistant for SEND, you will work with children who have special educational needs and disabilities, providing support and assistance to help them reach their full potential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology graduate to gain experience in a school setting, working with students who have a range of needs, including ADHD, SEMH, and SLCN. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and support students with their learning and development
  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students as needed
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system
  • Help to implement interventions and strategies to support students with SEND
Requirements
  • A patient and understanding approach
  • An interest in working with students with SEND
  • Flexibility and adaptability in your approach
  • An existing DBS check or willingness to undergo one
