Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join our team at Bright Horizons UK. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial property management, with experience in lease negotiation, rent reviews, and break clauses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of properties, including lease renewals, rent reviews, and break clauses.
  • Develop business cases for capital investment, including refurbishment work and new acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely payment of rents, service charges, business rates, and insurance.
  • Build relationships with landlords and negotiate lease agreements.
  • Provide day-to-day property management support, including responding to queries from the operations team and managing maintenance requests.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in property or estate management (e.g., RICS, CIH).
  • Proven experience in commercial property management, including lease negotiation and renewal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate risk and develop strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and deadlines.

Salary: £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience.
