Job Title: Export and Shipping Manager

We are pleased to be partnered with an established and growing forwarder in the Essex area who are seeking an experienced Export Manager / Supervisor to join their team:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of Incoterms to ensure compliance and efficiency in export operations.
  • Liaise with overseas agents and shipping lines to negotiate rates, provide quotations, and manage bookings, invoicing, and essential documents.
  • Manage a strong background in working with agents and freight companies, with expertise in customs clearance, including CDS, CNS, Destin8, and raising entries for imports and exports.
  • Experience with LCL/FCL sea freight, airfreight, road freight, and courier services, with the ability to act as a Key Account Manager for specific customers and handle all aspects of their shipments.
  • Engage with a variety of hauliers to negotiate competitive rates and report on and manage job counts, profits, and job targets.

Salary up to £45,000
