Location: Hammersmith & Fulham, West London

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Language Support Tutor to join our team at a successful Secondary School in Hammersmith & Fulham. As an English Language Support Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one and small group English language support to students with English as an Additional Language (EAL).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English language support to students with EAL in a one-to-one and small group setting
  • Work closely with the English and Inclusion departments to identify students who require additional support
  • Develop and implement effective English language support plans to meet the needs of students
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of students and make recommendations for future support
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students with EAL

Requirements:

  • First-Class or 2:1 English Graduate degree
  • Relevant TEFL experience and qualifications
  • Excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the English language
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
