Job Title: English Language Support Tutor

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Hammersmith & Fulham, West London

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Language Support Tutor to join our team at Ribbons & Reeves. As a TEFL Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for providing language support to students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group English language sessions to students with EAL
  • Work closely with the English and Inclusion departments to develop and implement language support plans
  • Assess and monitor student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Collaborate with teachers to integrate language support into the curriculum
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students on their language development

Requirements:

  • First-Class or 2:1 English Graduate degree
  • Relevant TEFL experience, preferably in a secondary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
