About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the technical management and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Provide leadership and technical support to junior staff members, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Design and Delivery: Work collaboratively with other design members to deliver innovative and sustainable designs, meeting the needs of our clients.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your knowledge and experience of structural analysis and designs with timber, concrete, masonry, and steel to create engineering outcomes that have a positive impact on the world.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and interact with external clients and professionals, attending meetings, planning committees, public exhibitions, and site inspections as needed.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Working towards Chartership and achieved a Chartered status.
  • Commercial Experience: Minimum of 5 years commercial or industrial experience.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge and experience of structural analysis and designs with timber, concrete, masonry, and steel, as well as SUDS and AutoCAD design experience.
