Fire Engineer Job Opportunity

Our client, a leading independent consultancy, is seeking a Graduate Fire Engineer to join their team. This exciting role offers the chance to work on diverse projects across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, nuclear, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop fire strategies and performance-based designs, supported by fire and evacuation modelling, risk analysis, and cost-benefit analysis
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery
  • Produce fire safety engineering reports and ensure compliance with client expectations and contractual obligations
  • Review design information, including drawings and documents, to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards
  • Apply accepted principles, codes, and standards to resolve fire engineering concerns
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering (Fire, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or similar)
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Computer Literate, with proficiency in software such as Blue Beam, Microsoft, CAD, and Smoke modelling software
  • Ability to travel within the UK and overseas
  • Qualifications paid, such as the Institution of Fire Engineers or National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
