Job Summary:

We are seeking a Family Support Coordinator to join our team in Twickenham. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting children and young people through child protection investigations and developing safety and contingency plans. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support children and young people through child protection investigations and develop safety and contingency plans.
  2. Build strong relationships with families, support networks, and partner agencies to ensure effective collaboration and outcomes.
  3. Work on complex cases involving court proceedings and pre-proceedings experience, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Contribute to team management, deputising for team leaders and potentially supervising ASYE or students, promoting professional growth and development.
  5. Capture the voice of children and young people in case recordings, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  6. Participate in reflective supervision and group supervision to maintain high standards of practice and quality assurance.
