Harrington Starr is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Resilience Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Cyber Resilience Team, you will be responsible for overseeing all penetration testing and vulnerability management activities across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain frameworks, policies, and procedures for penetration testing, threat modeling, application security, and vulnerability management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead all penetration testing activities, including third-party engagements, to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
- Oversee vulnerability scanning and management, working closely with the vulnerability management team to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the business to develop and implement remediation plans, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security issues.
- Provide guidance on cloud security and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) to ensure the organization's cyber resilience posture.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on penetration testing activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a lead or management role, overseeing third-party penetration testing and vulnerability management activities.
- Background in a regulated environment, preferably in the financial services sector.
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements for cyber resilience testing, including the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and the Bank of England's Operational Resilience framework.
- Experience managing a portfolio of security testing projects, with a strong understanding of security frameworks and vulnerability management tools.
- Technical background in penetration testing, with certifications such as OCSP, CREST, or CHECK, preferred.
