Security Testing and Vulnerability Management Lead

Harrington Starr is seeking a highly skilled Security Testing and Vulnerability Management Lead to join our Cyber Resilience Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all penetration testing and vulnerability management activities across EMEA, working closely with other teams on a global basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain frameworks, policies, and procedures for penetration testing, threat modelling, application security, and vulnerability management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead all penetration testing activities, including CBEST via third-party vendors, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Oversee all vulnerability scanning and management activities, working closely with the vulnerability management team.
- Collaborate with the business on remediation activities and provide cyber resilience guidance on cloud security and TPRM.
- Manage stakeholder relationships up to C-level and oversee all penetration testing activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a lead/management role with oversight of third-party penetration testing and vulnerability management.
- Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably in the financial services sector.
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements on cyber resilience testing, including DORA and BoE Operational Resilience, and CBEST.
- Experience managing a portfolio of security testing projects.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and vulnerability management tools.
- Technical background in penetration testing, including certifications such as OCSP, CREST, or CHECK, is preferred.
