The Whittington Health NHS Trust is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and we are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to lead our Trauma Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of safe and excellent clinical care to all patients attending the Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior leadership on the shopfloor during scheduled clinical shifts, ensuring effective coordination of care and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to drive best practice and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with General Practice and Community colleagues to ensure seamless integration between primary and secondary care.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent clinical expertise, and a passion for education and research. We offer a competitive salary of £105,504 to £139,882 per year (pro rata for part-time) and opportunities for professional development and growth within the organization.
