About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Medicines Management team at Practice Plus Group. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and secure management of medicines in our secure environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding quality-based patient-centered care to our patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback to ensure care is personalized and informed by what matters to them.
  • Deliver non-judgmental care within the scope of professional standards, involving the timely administration of medicines, analyzing cost-effective prescribing, and maintaining patient medical records to the agreed standard.
  • Inspire excellence by forging strong links within our teams, partners, and stakeholders, providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within, and feel proud of.
  • Promote best practice, evidence-based care, and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning and communicating complex or sensitive information with empathy and understanding.
  • Share information relating to pharmaceutical products, medicines management, drug regimes, medicines legislation, and general health education to ensure the multidisciplinary healthcare team is appropriately informed.
Requirements
  • Hold NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC).
  • Have relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Be able to work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact.
