We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our integrated, safe, legal, and high-quality prison pharmaceutical service.

About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician with Practice Plus Group, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing outstanding quality-based patient-centred care to our patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback to ensure care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
  • Delivering non-judgemental care within the scope of professional standards, involving timely administration of medicines, analysing cost-effective prescribing, and making a real difference by working as a key member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • Inspiring excellence by forging strong links within our teams, our partners, and stakeholders, and providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within, and feel proud of.
  • Promoting best practice, evidence-based care, and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning, and communicating complex or sensitive information while demonstrating empathy and understanding to patients.
  • Sharing information relating to pharmaceutical products, medicines management, drug regimes, medicines legislation, and general health education to ensure the multidisciplinary healthcare team is appropriately informed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC)
  • Relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to work unsupervised while following policy and procedures
