We are seeking a meticulous and organised payroll professional to join our client in North Ayrshire. As a part-time Payroll Clerk, you will play a vital role in upholding employee satisfaction and collaborating closely with HR and finance teams.
The successful candidate will manage the full payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payments, including salaries, overtime, bonuses, statutory deductions, and pensions while maintaining GDPR-compliant payroll records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full payroll process
- Ensure timely and accurate payments
- Maintain GDPR-compliant payroll records
- Submit required HMRC updates
- Manage auto-enrolment pension contributions
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in payroll
- Strong knowledge of PAYE, NIC, RTI, and auto-enrolment processes
- Proficiency in computerised payroll systems (SAGE Payroll is a plus)
- Solid technical skills in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Up-to-date understanding of HMRC legislation
