About the Role:
National Milk Records (NMR) is a leading provider of milk quality and herd health services. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our services to dairy farmers and developing business growth in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Acquire new customers by promoting NMR's services, including milk recording, disease testing, genomic testing, and farm software.
* Plan and execute weekly farm visits, attend farmer markets, and network at trade shows like Dairy Tech and Dairy Day.
* Use data insights and collaborate with key partners such as Lely, Genus, and Zoetis to gather leads and expand our customer base.
* Proven field sales experience, ideally within the agricultural or dairy industry.
* Familiarity with farming and the dairy industry is advantageous, but not essential.
* Independent and driven, capable of building your sales pipeline and generating leads proactively.
* Proficient with lead management and CRM software.
* Full driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
