Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our forward-thinking female respiratory ward. The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical support to our patients, working closely with the Registered Nurses to deliver exceptional care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of care planned and assessed by the Registered Nurses.
  • Carry out care and other duties under indirect supervision.
  • Supervise junior healthcare assistants, contributing to their training and development.
  • Undertake specific extended skills.

Requirements

  • Experience of providing care in a healthcare or social setting.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Effective and appropriate communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to complete appropriate documentation accurately.

Person Specification

Essential qualifications include a Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support or equivalent experience. We also require Level 2 Functional skills in English and Math's, or equivalent.
