About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at Affinity Fire Engineering, a leading fire safety consultancy.

Job Summary

This is a part-time hybrid role that will involve a range of bookkeeping duties, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable data entry, and depreciation schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank statements in GBP and Euro
  • Enter accounts payable data into Xero
  • Collect and file invoices and receipts
  • Prepare depreciation, prepayment, and accrual schedules
  • Assist the accounts team with ad hoc tasks

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with Xero
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
