Autism and SEMH Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a highly skilled Autism and SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team and support students aged 11-16 at a SEN school in Bournemouth.
About the RoleHours: 19.5 hours a week (08.30am - 15:30pm)
Full time/Part time: Part time only - Set days are Mon, Weds, Fri
Salary: £85.10 per day
Your Key Responsibilities- Provide individualised support to a student with autism and SEMH needs.
- Support teachers and SEN staff in implementing behaviour management strategies and enhancing lesson engagement.
- Foster positive relationships with students through consistent and empathetic approaches.
- Collaborate with external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for the student.
- A minimum of experience working with challenging behaviour.
- Desirable experience supporting children with SEN.
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete).
This part-time role offers a competitive salary of £85.10 per day, equating to approximately £6,547.25 per month when worked over 39 weeks per year.
