**Job Description**

We are looking for a highly skilled Head of Electrical Design Team to join our team at GS Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the technical development of electrical designs.

**Key Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will have 5+ years' experience in designing electrical or software systems and hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing new/improved platforms, including ground-up design, integration of systems, implementation of advanced technologies, and cost reduction;
  • Designing complex systems, including electric vehicle systems/subsystems, embedded processing platforms, FPGA design, and design for EMI/EMC;
  • Analyzing and interpreting design specifications, drawings, documentation, and/or test results to ensure technical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements;

**Working with Our Team**

You will work closely with our team to:

  • Direct Engineers in the development of circuit card designs, software development, and integration of vehicle systems;
  • Provide input to Project Managers for the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets;
  • Compile reports and present information to Project Managers and Clients;
  • Work to project budgets as defined by project management;

**What You'll Need**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in a related technical field;
  • 5+ years' experience in design of electrical or software systems required;

**Compensation and Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$105,000 annually (based on experience) and a comprehensive benefits package.
