Senior Highway Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at Galliford Try. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of our highway projects, working closely with our clients and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality highway projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the safety of personnel and the public.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies.
- Proven experience in highway engineering, project management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including CAD, project management tools, and Microsoft Office.
