We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Crisis Support Specialist to join our team at Southdown Housing Association. As a key member of our Staying Well service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises to manage their wellbeing within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide brief interventions to help individuals safely deescalate and manage their emotional distress in the short term.
  2. Support clients to identify their needs and connect with appropriate wider networks to aid in their recovery journeys.

Requirements

  1. Experience working with people with mental health needs.
  2. Good understanding of local NHS/Community support services.
  3. High level of resilience and ability to work autonomously.

You will be supported in your role by our experienced management team, with full training and induction provided. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our clients and staff.
