Branch Manager - Brockenhurst, Hampshire

As a key member of our team at Stride Resource Management Ltd, the Branch Manager plays a vital role in driving growth and delivering exceptional service to customers within the branch. Reporting to the Regional Director, this position requires a strong leader who can support the delivery of team key performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring service level delivery and adequate resource within the team.
  • Monitor team renewal, new business, and task progress daily, ensuring compliance with FCA requirements.
  • Lead and develop the team to achieve KPI targets, including new business, renewals, and placement strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior managers to implement change and deliver agreed business benefits.
  • Present monthly results to the team and provide feedback to the Regional Director/Senior Management.
  • Provide broking solutions and support to handlers when required.
  • Effectively communicate and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coach team members to deliver improved service to customers.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months experience in the insurance/broking sector.
  • A Certificate in Insurance status within two years of joining.
  • Strong influencing, negotiating, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Target-driven and highly motivated, with a can-do attitude.
  • Adaptable, focused, and professional.
  • Able to quickly develop a knowledge and understanding of company processes and business goals.
  • Recognition of the importance of self-development and up-to-date learning and development modules.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Broking skills and a detailed knowledge of the core range of policies.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Good knowledge of the core range of available insurance policies.
  • Knowledge and use of insurer products and solutions.
  • Ability to quickly develop a knowledge of operating structures, processes, and objectives of the client's business.
  • Previous experience of Acturis is desired.
