Private Client Paralegal Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a Private Client Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our lawyers in providing high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and Reviewing Documents: You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney, ensuring that they meet the required standards and are compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Probate and Estate Administration: You will assist with probate applications and estate administration, including preparing and submitting inheritance tax forms.
  • Client Liaison: You will liaise with clients, financial institutions, and other professionals to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service.
  • Research and Record-Keeping: You will conduct legal research and maintain accurate client records, ensuring that our files are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Caseload Management: You will manage your caseload efficiently and accurately, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience: You will have at least 12 months of experience as a Private Client Paralegal, with a strong understanding of private client law.
  • Knowledge and Skills: You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
