Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join their team in South London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private client law, including wills, probate, and trusts. Key responsibilities include drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney, assisting with probate applications and estate administration, and preparing and submitting inheritance tax forms. The successful candidate will also be responsible for liaising with clients, financial institutions, and other professionals, conducting legal research, and maintaining accurate client records. In addition, they will manage files and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, provide high-quality support to fee earners, and manage caseloads efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience as a Private Client Paralegal, strong knowledge of private client law, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
