As a Parcel Delivery Driver with Pertemps West Bromwich, you will be responsible for delivering parcels to our local community. Your day will start in the Shrewsbury delivery office, where you will sort and gather the parcels needed for your route. You will then collect your allocated vehicle and hand-held computer device, detailing your route and tracking your parcels. You will be required to work independently, but also as part of a team, and be flexible when needed. This role requires you to be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions. You will need to be relatively fit and healthy due to the amount of walking required. You will be smartly presented and always act in a professional and courteous manner.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who is helpful and approachable, with a strong sense of community. You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work. Some previous experience in a customer-facing or delivery role would be ideal, but not essential.
