About French Selection UK:

French Selection UK is a leading destination management company with a strong presence in West London and key operations across Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Sales Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales opportunities with new and existing clients and increasing revenue across European destinations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Research and develop innovative products in both new and existing destinations
  • Ensure existing products are kept up to date and in line with market trends
  • Manage and develop key accounts to increase revenue
  • Generate leads and create new business opportunities with new clients
  • Negotiate suppliers' contracts and terms of business to ensure product profitability
  • Create bespoke travel packages and itineraries and provide competitive quotations
  • Manage operations for designated accounts and complete necessary administration
  • Provide emergency on tour support
  • Assist the Head of Department and provide support to the team as Assistant Manager in their absence

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a Destination Management Company (DMC)
  • Extensive knowledge in travel product and destinations across Europe
  • Fluency in a second European language would be beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to situations
  • Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
  • IT literate

Salary: circa £45,000 per annum depending on experience
