Job Title: Theatres Team Leader

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatres Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative care team, you will be responsible for leading a team of practitioners and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Manage the day-to-day operational and resource management of the clinical area
  • Take the lead for specific areas of professional practice as delegated by senior team leaders
  • Act as a leader, delegating tasks and supervising the standard of care delivered by junior staff
  • Assist with the management of department resources and ensure adequate resources are available to meet patient needs
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification as a Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
  • Relevant clinical experience in the Operating Department
  • Demonstrated commitment and ability to lead a team and support staff
  • Evidence of Continual Professional Development
