Job Overview
Ergonomic components and fabrications play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of users. As a Chassis Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for designing parts that meet these requirements while collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient test validation.

We are seeking a skilled engineer who can adapt to new areas, understand complex issues, and balance engineering and aesthetics. If you have a strong background in design engineering and experience working on chassis design projects, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchase Departments to ensure robust design and efficient test validation.
  • Design parts for Ergonomic Components and Fabrications, adapting to new areas and understanding complex issues.
  • Progress through problems with well-thought-out solutions, balancing engineering and aesthetics.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are maintained and updated for best practice.
  • Communicate complex issues clearly and provide 1-2-1 reviews, CAD reviews, and testing support.

Requirements:
  • BEng or MEng in an engineering-related field.
  • Proven work experience in design engineering for chassis design.
  • Strong experience with designing parts for Ergonomic Components and Fabrications.
  • Understanding of the full design process and issue resolution.
  • Ability to adapt to new areas and mentor junior engineers.
  • Experience supporting internal department teams with R&D.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
