Job Summary

RPS Water Operations is seeking a skilled Assistant Drainage Operative to join our waste-water network team based in Grangemouth. As a key member of our 3-person site survey crew, you will be responsible for gathering flow data and other information across above and below-ground waste-water assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety of our Survey Operatives and members of the public
  • Move and handle heavy manhole covers
  • Follow instructions from your crew leader
  • Be alert and monitor the safety of your team members while they are underground
  • Work at height and within a confined space
Requirements
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • A flexible approach to working hours
  • Physically able to undertake all duties required (lifting/carrying)
  • Commitment to working safely with excellent health and safety awareness
  • Basic written, verbal, numerical, and IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence
