Job Title: Assistant Drainage Operative

RPS Water Operations is seeking a skilled Assistant Drainage Operative to join our wastewater network team based in Grangemouth. As a key member of our 3-person site survey crew, you will be responsible for gathering flow data and other information across above and below-ground wastewater assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring safe systems of work, including safe entry into confined spaces and working on the highway, to safeguard the public and crew wellbeing during survey operations.
  • Providing necessary training to ensure no previous water industry experience is required.
  • Working flexible day shifts Monday to Friday, with occasional night shifts and work away from home as contracts and surveys demand.

Requirements:
  • Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Physically able to undertake all duties required, including lifting and carrying.
  • Commitment to working safely with excellent health and safety awareness.
  • Basic written, verbal, numerical, and IT skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
